Jackson Mississippi Murder Case in the News

The Clarion Ledger reported today on a quadruple homicide which took place on January 23, 1998. Chuck Mullins defended one of the persons charged with those murders, Sharrod Moore. Mr. Moore was indicted for the crimes in 2007. From the start, the State’s case was beyond weak. Not only had crucial exculpatory evidence been lost and/or destroyed, but the State’s only witness linking Mr. Moore to the crimes provided inconsistent (lies) statements to police. In fact, there was a high probablity that the witness was actually involved. The case should never have been indicted in the first place but it was. Of course, the newspaper did not report these facts.

Charles R. “Chuck” Mullins has been defending Mississippi citizens accused of crimes for over 16 years. Learn more about Chuck at his website.
