Mandatory Minimums

If you’re facing non-violent drug charges, you need to contact a skilled criminal defense attorney as soon as possible after your arrest. Many drug charges hold mandatory minimum sentences, meaning if you are convicted, you could be facing lengthy prison sentences, no matter what the circumstances of your particular arrest or case were. The judge’s discretion is totally taken out of the situation, and you’re at the mercy of outdated laws aimed at punishing non-violent drug offenders.
